Visa Updates: UAE issues 5 New Visas from September 2022

Post Pandemic in UAE, visas are a major topic of discussion. UAE cabinet has approved now some new visas as the country continues to welcome expats from around the globe.

The aim is to attract and retain global talents and skilled workers. With new visas being granted from next month, let's find out which visa suits your needs.

Business visa

For persons who want to start their own company or invest in other companies, a business visa can be availed without the need of a sponsor.

Temporary work visa

For candidates coming on a project or temporary work assignments, a temporary work visa can be applied by submitting a temporary work contract or a letter from the employer. Candidates also need to provide a health certificate along with the application.

Visa for studying and training

This type of visas are issued for studying courses, internships and training purposes. The application should provide details of study or internship and period for which the this visa is required. This visa candidate can be sponsored by public and private sector educational and research institutes or companies.

Family visa

Families can now sponsor male kids up to 25 years of age as compared to previous rule of only 18 years of age for sons while daughters can be under parent sponsorship until marriage. This visa now allows disabled children to be sponsored for an indefinite period.

Job visa

Job visas are given to candidates who graduate from best 500 universities, bachelor degree or equivalent degree holders can avail this visa to visit UAE and explore job opportunities in UAE. Candidates with first, second or third level category qualify for this visa as per Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
