What the UAE's New Green Visa means for Teachers

UAE has for a few months been taking initiatives to attract the world's best talents in various fields, inviting them to establish their roots and feel UAE is their home.

This 5-year residency visa is for middle-income workers to sponsor themselves and their immediate family members. The Green visa is focused on attracting talents, skilled professionals, freelancers, investors, and entrepreneurs.

What is a UAE green visa?

UAE's newest Green visa has been launched for people with Bachelor's degrees who earn AED 15,000 (USD 4,084) or more, per month. The idea behind launching this Green Visa is to attract global talent and invite them to come and make UAE their new home.

Who qualifies for a green visa in UAE?

Green Visa is available to investors, entrepreneurs, highly-skilled individuals, top students, and graduates. The Green Visa allows holders to self-sponsor themselves, thus eliminating the need to seek a local sponsor to live in UAE.

How do you get a green visa?

Skilled Employees can apply for a Green Visa if they have a valid employment contract in the first, second, or third occupational level as classified by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

How do I get a 10-year visa for UAE?

To get a golden visa which is valid for 10 years, the conditions to be met are either an investment in a fund or real estate property purchase or investment in the business up to the value of AED 2 million.
