 Lata Mangeshkar Passes away on Feb 6, 2022 Lata Mangeshkar , India's most loved playback singer, passes away at age of 92 on Sunday, Feb 6, 2022, at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai . Lata Ji , as she was fondly addressed with respect was admitted in early January this year for covid-19 and was also diagnosed with pneumonia. on January 28, she was taken off the ventilator as her condition improved but then later on February 5, the condition deteriorated again and she breathed her last. Lata didi (elder sister) died due to a multi-organ failure after over 28 days of treatment after being admitted for covid-19 symptoms.
