Raj Kundra, husband of Shilpa Shetty arrested in Pornography case | denied bail | new FIR filed
Raj Kundra, the famous Business man and husband of Bollywood Actress Shilpa Shetty has been arrested on July 20 for producing and distributing pornographic material.
Kundra has been sent to 14 day judicial custody.
Kundra who is 45 has been arrested by 11 others by the crime branch in relation to this case.
Mumbai Crime Branch is now trying to trail funds to check if his celebrity wife Shilpa Shetty is in any way linked to this case but so far Raj and Shilpa have both claimed to be innocent.
Shilpa claims that the material her husband is distributing is erotica and not pornographic as it does not indulge in explicit sexual acts.

Raj Kundra and his aide IT Head Ryan Thorpe were both denied bail on July 28 in the pornography case by a court in Mumbai.
Investigation continues in the case which involves producing and distributing pornographic material via mobile apps.
According to NDTV, Kundra's lawyer tried to argue as why the police is denying him bail, his client is not a terrorist but the government lawyer defended saying Digital evidence related to this case has been destroyed, hence giving bail could further allow defendant to tamper evidence.

Related to this case, a new FIR (First Instance Report) has been filed shaking up Bollywood.
Mumbai Crime Branch has lodged a fresh complaint that names producers employed at Raj Kundra's company, these names are Roma Khan, husband of actress Gehana Vasisth (pictured), director Tanveer Hashmi and Umesh Kamath who was looking after India operations of Raj Kundra's firm according to The Hindu Newspaper.

SEBI (Securities Exchange Board of India) has levied a penalty of Rs 300,000 (Dhs 14,835) on Shilpa Shetty whose upcoming movie Hungama 2 is being launched, her husband Raj Kundra whose real name is Ripu Sudan Kundra and their company Viaan Industries.
The fine has been given for a three year delay in disclosing preferential shares allocated by them in year 2015.
Viaan Industries, their own company had allocated 500,000 preferential equity shares without disclosing it to SEBI.
Of these 500,000 allocated shares, 128,000 shares were given to Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty, the promoters of the company.
